She was completely disappointed that the "online" feature of the toy did not work. This product was ordered for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. She has to be the biggest "Bratz" fan alive. My husband is very computer savvy and he couldn't even get it to function right. The doll itself was fine, just the online jazz was not very jazzy at all.
I purchased these much-desired dolls for my 2 daughters 2 Christmasses ago only to discover after a few plays online that they were VERY disappointed in the online interaction(or lack thereof)compared to the other online toys they play with (WebKinz, BuildABear, Littlest Pet Shop, EPets, etc.). If your child just wants the doll for the doll itself, great. I was very annoyed & angry that I had gotten them a toy(that was NOT cheap by any means). that they had so looked forward to and were so disappointed in. However, if she's looking for the fun interactive play online, SKIP IT. Get her/him a Webkinz or Build A Bear(GREAT site) instead.
My 10 year old daughter received this as a Christmas gift from her grandmother. However, we waited a few days and tried again. The website launched, she got herself registered with little help from me and played for hours. We jumped on the computer Christmas morning, plugged the key in and received an error message. The mouse pad that came with it, is really only usful if you can use the provided mouse because it's so small. Tried it on our other computer same thing. She was very excited to use it right away. Plugged the key in and away we went.
It appears the website was down. She was very disappointed not to be able to play with her new toy. The mouse that came with the doll won't work on the her computer. She played with it for a few days and has since lost interest in it.
.this website for the toy was overwhelmed on the holiday with people and the site crashed not allowing anyone access, this continued till well after the holiday and even though my daughter can get online now the excitement was totally ruined for her because she really wanted this and could not get online xmas day.You would think the manufacturers would have been prepared for a large amount of people accessing their website because this toy was one of the most asked for this year. I am disappointed that they allowed this to happen.
Shame on you greedy manufacturer to disappoint SO MANY KIDS ON CHRISTMAS and not offer any solutions. This is the biggest waste of money I have ever seen.
We made her wait until Christmas to get it and she was soooo excited. This was the ONLY thing my daughter wanted for Christmas.
We have 3 computers that do not run VISTA and it will not work on ANY of them. AND THEN, IT DOES NOT WORK.
I found out after searching the web and spending HOURS trying to fix this that it is not even compatible with Vista. I still don't know how to explain this to my heartbroken daughter.
After watching my daughter cry for so long (she is mentally retarded and just does not understand) I will NEVER purchase any BRATZ products for any of my kids again.
